S E A Consultants was retained to perform a study and create an RFP for the $10 million expansion of the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office and Correctional Center. The project consisted of the addition of a new housing unit; the addition of a new warehouse to provide storage for property, food products (dry and refrigerated); a carpenter shop and staff classrooms; and the addition of site parking. S E A completed the study and RFP on a 'fast track' schedule in collaboration with the Sheriff's Office and Division of Capital Asset Management

The study consisted of a program document, site investigations, schematic design options and cost estimates. The final RFP for modular design/build implementation consisted of Room Data Sheets, drawings, and technical specifications. The project is currently awaiting construction funding.
