Spectra is a natural gas transmission company transporting natural gas to its customers in New England and required project management services in connection with metering and associated piping component upgrades to their meter and regulator facilities. S E A combined its program management team with a third party contractor to meet Spectra’s aggressive schedule and quality standards.
Sustainable features
Natural gas is an environmentally cleaner fuel when compared to coal or oil. These projects are done as part of the operations and maintenance of the pipeline to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas. Their implementation also improves the metering of natural gas which, in turn, will improve tracking unaccounted for gas.
Client collaboration
Having intimate familiarity with the client's operating and construction procedures, S E A was able to oversee the program management so the client was able to focus on other business matters. S E A’s knowledge base coupled with the trust established between the two entities was a critical success factor in a successful outcome.
