Sustainable features
A previously contaminated manufactured gas plant was re-developed into a useful and clean site. This project promotes the use of natural gas, the most important transitional fuel needed to span the "green bridge" from environmentally harmful, non-renewable energy sources to cleaner, renewable alternative fuels.
Client collaboration
S E A became an extension of Yankee Gas' staff and was viewed as a "strategic advisor" on all critical decisions made throughout the 5-1/2 year project life cycle. S E A moved on site with Yankee's Gas personnel for the 30 month construction period where daily interaction was a critical success factor in reviewing 4,500 RFI’s in order to keep construction on schedule and budget.
