S E A performed a complete VA for the Wareham Fire District (WFD) water system following the Risk Assessment Methodology for Water Utilities, as developed by Sandia Laboratories. Three threat types of greatest concern and applicability to the WFD water system were established and site inspections were performed at each of the eleven sites in the system evaluated as critical from a water supply and operations standpoint. S E A created a detailed ERP, based on the findings of the VA, that established the procedures to be followed by District personnel for an entire range of emergency situations, including step-by-step checklists for initial response procedures and notification of the public and proper authorities.
