S E A was retained to perform a study to evaluate the Town's existing WWTF for future loading conditions, and determine a method to effectively downsize the existing plant to meet the Town's needs of 0.6 mgd. S E A identified several upgrades recommended for the facility to effectively downsize the facility and replace aging mechanical equipment while providing consistent wastewater treatment, and meeting stringent NPDES limitations on its discharge. S E A was subsequently retained to design the $6 million SBR plant upgrade which included a new headworks facility with septage receiving, ultraviolet light disinfection and modifications to the administration building.
