S E A Sponsors Eighth Annual Agile Planner
Higher Education Workshop Will Focus On Integrated Campus Planning
08/22/2008 - S E A will sponsor its eighth annual Agile Planner Higher Education Workshop on October 23rd in Cambridge, MA. Attendees will learn how Columbia's Manhattanville Campus and Harvard's Allston campus expansion ground planning replaced traditional 2-D planning with a more robust form of 3-D planning. Workshop participants will earn AIA Learning Units.
The Agile Planner Workshops provide a forum to exchange information vital to higher education leaders as they balance priorities in continuously evolving campus environments. The workshops create small group settings in which administrators, planners, architects, and facilities managers learn new information, exchange ideas, and develop tools to manage and implement long-term capital improvement projects.
S E A Consultants Inc. launched the workshop series in 2000 in partnership with host institutions. Discussion topics at prior workshops have included funding facilities and infrastructure needs, designing for the sciences, green design, utilities and infrastructure planning, materials handling and access planning, and rapidly changing space requirements.

What our clients say...
This project required a complex sequence of utility relocations to clear the sites and to clear the street for tunnel construction. S E A has done an extraordinary job and knows very well university needs, site planning and engineering, as well as the process of implantation, permitting, and construction.
