Shaina Glidden Makes "Pitch the City" Semifinals
Advocates Boston go car free for a day
02/16/2009 - Shaina Glidden's request for Bostonians to go "car free" for one day a year was among the ten semifinalist ideas chosen for Pitch the City, a collaborative contest from down:2:earth (D2E) and the City of Boston. The contest seeks creative ideas to adopt into the Boston's fledgling green agenda. City officials will follow up with individuals to discuss their ideas in greater detail. Glidden, a 2006 graduate of Northeastern University, is a staff engineer working in S E A's water resources group in Cambridge, MA.
D2E will be held at the Hynes Convention Center on April 3-5. For more information, visit them at: http://d2eboston.com/index.php
What our clients say...
This project required a complex sequence of utility relocations to clear the sites and to clear the street for tunnel construction. S E A has done an extraordinary job and knows very well university needs, site planning and engineering, as well as the process of implantation, permitting, and construction.
