CE News Lists S E A as Top Performer

Firm spotlighted for strong financial performance

09/15/2009 - S E A Consultants was named to CE News' Top Performers list, which highlights the nation's most successful civil and structural engineering firms. The list appears in the September 2009 issue of CE News.

"Despite facing economic forces that are truly beyond our control," said Anthony Zuena, P.E., President and CEO, "S E A recognizes the times we find ourselves in represent an opportunity to be successful. We have remained diligently focused, expending our energy and financial resources on opportunities that are within our control, such as providing exceptional client service. We are financially strong because of our daily attention to operations and a healthy backlog of work."

To be included, firms must meet or exceed the median for three out of four of the following metrics: growth, profitability, backlog, and revenue. The median was determined from the applicant pool.

Civil engineering firms have been hit hard by the recent economic downturn. In many areas, development has slowed to a trickle, leaving many firms struggling. In such an environment, its essential firms enhance their short-term and long-term performance. The goal of the CE News list is to honor those firms that are surviving--even thriving--during these difficult economic times.

What our clients say...

This project required a complex sequence of utility relocations to clear the sites and to clear the street for tunnel construction. S E A has done an extraordinary job and knows very well university needs, site planning and engineering, as well as the process of implantation, permitting, and construction.
