Joe Cormier to Serve on Flexible Work Arrangements Panel
At the ASCE Annual Civil Engineering Conference
10/05/2009 - Joseph B. Cormier, P.E., manager of S E A's architectural and structural services group, will serve as an opening day panelist at the ASCE's Annual Civil Engineering Conference in Kansas City, MO, Thursday, October 29. Focused on flexible work arrangements, the panel discussion will outline the advantages and challenges created by virtual employees, flex schedules, dress codes, and other non-traditional aspects of the engineering workplace.
Mr. Cormier is an active member in both the BSCES section of ASCE and ACEC-Massachusetts. He has been instrumental in creating and successfully implementing the Emerging Leaders Program for ACEC-MA, and more recently, the local Everest Program, both of which promote leadership development and training specific to leading a professional services firm in the A/E industry.
