Anthony Zuena Honored by University of Rhode Island
With Dean’s List Distinguished Achievement Award
10/19/2009 - University of Rhode Island alumnus (class of '74), Anthony J. Zuena, P.E., received the 2009 Dean's List Distinguished Achievement Award. The Distinguished Achievement Awards are given to alumni who have made substantial accomplishments in their career. The ceremony was held Saturday, October 17, in Providence, RI. Three alumni from each of URI's 9 colleges received the award.
Mr. Zuena has served as S E A's President and Chief Executive Officer since 2005. Under his leadership as President, S E A Consultants was voted one of the "50 Best Places to Work," by the Boston Business Journal and earned national recognition as a Best Workplace for Commuters. The firm was recently named to Public Works Magazine's "Top AEC Firms" list, and ranked in the top ten for the Boston Business Journal's Largest Engineering Firms.
Last month, S E A was named to the CE News Top Performers list, which highlights the nation's most successful civil and structural engineering firms. Mr. Zuena holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering from University of Rhode Island.
