Kleinfelder/ S E A Earns Project Achievement Award
For U.S. Route 7 Bypass Project
04/30/2010 - The New England Chapter of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) presented
Kleinfelder/S E A Consultants with a project achievement award for its U.S. Route 7 Bypass Project in Connecticut. The award was given April 28 during the New England chapter's 16th annual awards luncheon in Boston.
Kleinfelder/S E A was selected as the winner in the Infrastructure Project category, for projects with a constructed value of less than $100 million. The project consisted of the construction of a 2.9-mile bypass, designed so Route 7 traffic avoids the congested Brookfield Four Corners, where routes 25 and 202 converge.
CMAA promotes and enhances leadership, professionalism, and excellence in managing the development and construction of projects and programs.
What our clients say...
This project required a complex sequence of utility relocations to clear the sites and to clear the street for tunnel construction. S E A has done an extraordinary job and knows very well university needs, site planning and engineering, as well as the process of implantation, permitting, and construction.
