New Tank Goes Up in White Island Shores
Wareham Fire District Celebrates with Open House, Wareham, MA
05/25/2010 - The Wareham Fire District, Wareham, MA, recently became the proud owner of a 209,000-gallon composite elevated storage tank. The tank will provide the White Island Shores area served by the District with water for drinking and fire protection. Constructed of a glass-fused-to-steel tank and a concrete supporting column, the structure is the first composite elevated storage tank designed by the firm. Faster construction and low-maintenance costs are making this kind of water tank attractive to many cities and towns across the nation.
Kleinfelder/S E A Consultants and Statewide Aquastore are celebrating with an Open House on Wednesday, June 16th from 10:30-3:00 P.M. This unique opportunity will allow the public to discuss the design and building process with the design engineers and tour the tank. What our clients say...
This project required a complex sequence of utility relocations to clear the sites and to clear the street for tunnel construction. S E A has done an extraordinary job and knows very well university needs, site planning and engineering, as well as the process of implantation, permitting, and construction.
