Investment Development

The vessels under our control mainly consist of dry bulk carriers that we own and operate independently, jointly manage with business partners, or lease with long-term through bareboat charter or finance leasing arrangements. On the other hand, our chartered-in vessels primarily comprise dry bulk carriers leased from vessel suppliers under time-charter arrangements.


Operating Fleet: As of 31 December 2025, the Group had 36 controlled vessels in total and invested in 12 vessels through joint ventures.The total comprehensive weight carrying capacity reached 1.70 million dwt. The average age of vessels being further reduced from 6.0 years in 2024 to 3.6 years.


Newbuildings:As of December 31, 2025, we had 12 vessels under construction that were owned or bareboat-chartered by us, along with 32 newbuldings held through our joint ventures, totaling 44 vessels. The additional capacity covers various ship type including tankers/chemical tankers, heavy multipurpose vessels, bulk carriers, multipurpose dry cargo vessels,and LNG bunkering vessels. This will effectively expand the Group’s fleet capacity while balancing asset investment and returns.


On June 24,2025,Seacon Shipping, together with Shanghai Maritime University, placed an order to build China’s first green multipurpose training vessel.
