The vessels under our control mainly consist of dry bulk carriers that we own and operate independently, jointly manage with business partners, or lease with long-term through bareboat charter or finance leasing arrangements. On the other hand, our chartered-in vessels primarily comprise dry bulk carriers leased from vessel suppliers under time-charter arrangements.
Operating Fleet: As of June 30, 2025, the fleet under the control of us and our joint ventures consists of 38 vessels, with a combined carrying capacity of 1.48 million dwt, and an annual transport volume of approximately 50 million deadweight tons.
Newbuildings:As of June 30, 2025, we had 18 vessels under construction that were owned or bareboat-chartered by us, along with 21 newbuldings held through our joint ventures, totaling 39 vessels. The additional capacity covers various ship type including tankers/chemical tankers, heavy multipurpose vessels, bulk carriers, and multipurpose dry cargo vessels. This will effectively expand the Group’s fleet capacity while balancing asset investment and returns.
On June 24,2025,Seacon Shipping, together with Shanghai Maritime University, placed an order to build China’s first green multipurpose training vessel.
